The Madera PTA is now recruiting for its 2009-2010 executive board. Below is a list of positions that are open for the next school year; officers take up their positions in July. If you are at all interested in taking on one of these positions, please contact one of the following people by Wednesday, March 4th: Kathy Guarneri, Rula Adranly or Judy Chin.
Open Positions on the Madera PTA Executive Board 2009-2010
Executive Vice President
Shares the responsibilities of the President which are to organize and direct PTA meetings; serve as liaison with Principal and PTA at Bayside, State, and National levels; authorize payments from PTA funds; approve PTA flyers.
2nd Vice President for Membership
Recruit volunteers to chair committees and PTA jobs; serve as resource for committee chairs; manage PTA calendar of events; maintain list of committee chairs; conducts Madera Talent Search; update/distribute PTA Handbook.
Recording and Corresponding Secretary
Take and distribute minutes of PTA meetings; receive and prepare PTA correspondence.
Verify and prepare deposits. Issue receipts.
Prepare audit report of PTA financial transactions.
Collect and organize materials to provide historical record of Madera PTA.
