Olympic Spirit Rally
Tuesday, October 6, 2009 · 11:00 AM

The 19th Annual Madera School Olympics will be on October 9th, 2009. Students can only take part if they turn in a signed permission/pledge sheet (no pledges required to participate) to the school.

This PTA-sponsored activity is the school’s second largest fund raising event of the year. In previous years between $5,000 and $11,000 has been raised to help support the computer lab, classroom art supplies, cultural arts assemblies, and more–all for the benefit of Madera students.

The Olympic Rally is on the Tuesday before the Olympics. This is a fun event that gets the students excited about the Olympics. It is scheduled for 11am and will last 1 hour. Each of the classes will perform an Olympic cheer and the teachers will participate in a Olympic challenge. It is a lot of fun for everyone. Please plan to attend. (Non-Madera children cannot be on the campus.)

Students can help raise money by having family and friends make pledges towards each of the events in which they participate. Any amount can help the school.

We hope all children can participate in this fun event and show Madera Spirit.

**Pledge/permission sheets must be turned in by Friday, October 9th, in order to participate. **
