Take your family to school week! *updated*

Thank you to everyone who came to our first “Are You Smarter Than A Madera 5th Grader?” It was a great success, and it was proven that Madera 5th graders are pretty darn smart! Big thanks to the parents who were brave enough to challenge them.

TONIGHT:
Family Science Night
hosted by Chabot Space and Science Center sponsored by the PTA
If your last name starts from A – M, please join us from 6:30 – 7:30
If your last name starts from N – Z, please join us from 7:30 – 8:30

Tomorrow:
Bring a sack lunch and come dine with your Madera student, and then stay through lunch recess. 12:00 – 1:00

Friday:
Enjoy some breakfast treats at the Principal Tea 8:30 – 9:30 MPR

Thank you for making Take Your Family To School Week a hit. I know the kids enjoy seeing their parents at school.

Ongoing reminders

Please support our Garden, on DonorsChoose.org and getting extra supplies that enhance their learning. Only 4 days left before this project expires, and we possibly lose funding.

Tickets still available for the documentary “Race To Nowhere. Portion of the proceeds from the ticket sales benefit Madera PTA. March 17th, at the Rialto Cinemas Cerrito. ~ A film about the high pressure culture that has invaded our schools (not necessarily OUR school) and our children’s lives.
