Take a mathematical trip around the world! Timeless games from many areas of the globe are offered to challenge students’ probability, logic, and strategy skills. From Native-American Game Sticks to Lo-Shu Puzzles of China, students exercise their ability to focus and problem-solve — traits necessary for succeeding in math.
We still need volunteers!
This program is funded by the generous donations to the Madera PTA. Do you love games? Well if so, you are the volunteer for us! I need 12 volunteers to assist students at the stations. Each station will have a game from around the world that will challenge student’s probability, logic and strategy skills. Volunteers would need to show up 15 minutes before the program begins to get acquainted with their station.
Please contact Beth Lewis if you can help out.
