6:00pm – 8:00pm
Hello Madera Families,
Please come to Science Fair Parent Night this Tuesday, April 16, from 6 pm to 8 pm. This year, 210 science projects by students in grades K through 6 are entered into the Fair. A large fraction of Madera’s students have participated in the Science Fair in some way, either through an individual or small group project, or through a class project. Their scientific efforts make quite an impressive display.
On a practical note, projects should remain at the Science Fair until 7:30 PM so that others may view them. After 7:30 PM, projects may be taken home unless your child’s teacher wants the project to come to the classroom. Ideally, students should take their ribbons and certificates home on Parent Night.
Volunteers Needed for Setup
The Science Fair committee is asking for parent volunteers to help set up.
On Tuesday afternoon, we need one volunteer at 1:00 for an hour and a half (or longer if you have time), and three volunteers at 2:40 for about two hours. Volunteers will help place certificates and ribbons on projects, move lunch tables out of the multipurpose room, etc..
If you can help us out at all, please send an email to Judy Chin. Sorry for the late notice, but we would really appreciate some support to make the fair a success.
We hope to see everyone at the Science Fair!
