The Madera Garden 4-1-1

hand picked herbs

Hello Madera Community,

1. First of all, thanks to everyone who made the Carnival such a success.  From the intrepid guys of the Dad’s Club who built catapults and constructed race tracks, to our wonderful principal and secretary who were willingly pelted by water balloons- everyone helped out in some way.  I’d like to send out a special thanks to Shar, Sasha, Radka, Melissa, Claudia, Linda, and Mackenzie- these are the folks who harvested, packaged, and helped the farmers manage the money at the market.  Thank you.

madera_farmers_market_organic_mens_tshirt2. You only have until the end of May to buy your Madera market aprons, shirts, hats, etc.  It costs us money to keep the market place open, so we are only going to do so until the end of this month.  Remember- the PTA does get a percentage of the proceeds.

  1. You’re doing a fabulous job Molly! Our daughter comes home singing your praises regularly; she truly enjoys the time she spends in the school garden. We also love our purchases from the garden markets and CafePress store. Thank you very much!!
