Madera Receives Disaster Preparedness Help From Local Businesses!

The Madera Safety Committee is happy to announce that the following local businesses have made recent donations to help Madera continue to improve our disaster preparedness.  Their support is enabling us to go beyond just having basic 1st aid, food and water.  We are now off to a great start building up our search & rescue, sanitation, and record-keeping supplies amongst other things.  And now we have extra storage space so our supplies can continue to grow!

HOME DEPOT in El Cerrito (Store Manager Josh Quintero donated nearly $1200+ in merchandise including two 3.5’x7′ storage sheds AND provided free delivery for the sheds – WOW!!!!)

ASHBY LUMBER in Berkeley  (Store Manager Richard Lewis donated dust masks and 10 tarps valued at $60)

COSTCO in Richmond (Charitable donations head, Marcella, donated $100 gift card)

Feeling as grateful as we do?  Then patronize their businesses or send them a letter of thanks!
