The Madera Auction is the one Adults Only event every year. It’s a fabulous party where parents can enjoy adult conversation, without kids pulling our attention away! Please Consider Donating to Our Annual Auction

PARENTS! Wondering if you have anything to Donate to the Auction? YES, YOU DO!

Our annual Madera Auction is coming up soon and, historically, some of the best Auction items have been donated by Madera families! If you own a business or work for a company that will offer merchandise or services, please make a donation! However, auction items are not only “goods and services”. Donations of unique experiences that people can’t get anywhere else are often the most interesting and desirable items to bid on.

No doubt you have something wonderful to contribute to the Auction this year! Please consider making a contribution to this great event. There are SO many creative ways to provide a donation that people will want to bid on. If it isn’t obvious to you yet what “that thing” is, here are some ideas to get you thinking:

  • Do you have a skill or talent to share? Quilting? Woodworking? Do you know more than most about Google Apps, or building web pages? People really do love to learn! So share your abilities for a few hours by offering a class!
  • Some form of child entertainment is always valuable! Arrange an afternoon out for a group of kids. Organize a game of kickball, or hold a cartwheel competition, anything! Or maybe an evening event for kids, so parents can have a date night.
  • Opera-goer? 49-ers fan? If you have season tickets or a membership somewhere, consider donating your seats for an event.
  • Everyone loves a party! Organize and finance a social event; we’ll sell tickets at the Auction. You’ll be raising money for our kids while community building at the same time!

Please make a contribution to the Madera Auction!
*Many businesses in the Bay Area contribute to our annual Auction. Providing a tax-deductible donation of a gift certificate or merchandise is a great way for local businesses to make themselves known to new customers while also supporting local public schools. If you frequent a local business regularly, please ask them to consider making a donation.
