Foundation Membership Annual Meeting

Introducing the Madera Elementary Foundation!

Great news! Madera Elementary has a brand new foundation!

The Madera Elementary Foundation will enable us to raise more money for programs, provide more support for our teachers, and create even greater opportunities for our kids.

Learn more about the Foundation, how it fits with other committees, and ways to join and get involved. This is also a great chance to ask questions and share your ideas. The first year for the Foundation will be a big one – we look forward to your contribution and feedback to help make Madera the best school it can be.

The first annual meeting of the new Madera Elementary Foundation will take place on May 24th at 7:00 p.m. in the MPR. The Board of Directors for the Foundation will be voted in at this meeting.

The first year of the Foundation will be about setting up systems, soliciting input from parents and teachers to inform decision making, planning and executing fundraising events, researching new funding opportunities and ensuring Madera elementary makes their budgeted goal in order to find all programs currently at Madera.

To nominate yourself or someone else to become a Director of the Board, please complete as much of the nomination form as possible and turn it into the Foundation box in the office by May 23 or bring the nomination form to the meeting. To vote on Board members, you must be a member of the Foundation. Complete the membership form and pay $5 – it’s that easy. Membership applications and payment can also be submitted in the Foundation box in the office or brought the night of the meeting. Members can vote either in person or by proxy.
